Weather and Climate

1 comment:

  1. The climate of the Earth is always changing. In the past it has altered as a result of natural causes. Nowadays, however, the term climate change is generally used when referring to changes in our climate which have been identified since the early part of the 1900's. The changes we've seen over recent years and those which are predicted over the next 80 years are thought to be mainly as a result of human behaviour rather than due to natural changes in the atmosphere.
    Flooding
The UK has experienced devastating floods throughout the last five years, which have affected thousands of people and caused millions of pounds worth of damage. Can we really cope with similar flooding incidents in the future and is there anything we can do to prevent it or deal with it? The Midlands had bad floods in summer 2006, which still has effects on some areas. Some houses were ruinoned and still aren’t fixed properly.
Floods effects the everyone because it happens across the world. Whenever and whereever.
    Global Warming
Global warming happens everywhere but it mainly effects the ice caps in the antartic. it is melting them away and it is getting harder fo the animals to find food. With the warm weather some animals are getting to hot as their skin is meant for the cold weather. Some animals die from the heat which means some animals can't get food as their pray is dieing.
