About 5.3 million undocumented immigrants from Mexico are living in the United States, according to estimates based on the March 2002 Current Population Survey (CPS) as well as census and other government data. Over one in every two Mexican immigrants is undocumented, compared with about one in every six for the remainder of the foreign born.

  1. The Border between Mexico and South America...

The Border between Mexico and South America is very tight and very few people cross it, as hard as they might not many make it across. Few try and cross by swimming the Rio Grand.

  2. People decide to leave Mexico because they hardly have any jobs and have a poor standard of living because of the poor country, and many people get killed trying to cross the border for a better life in South America, for buildings which means more and better jobs and a very good sandard of living.
